Harry Styles has debuted long beard for the music video of his single Music for a Sushi Restaurant and sent fans into meltdown.

The singer and songwriter took to social media to announce the official music video for the track from his album Harry’s House.

A post from Harry Styles HQ Instagram and Twitter account announced the project, followed by an image of Harry from the video.

The 28-year-old singer’s beard has sent fans into frenzy and many couldn’t spare their reactions to Harry’s latest look.

Harry Styles has opted for long messy hair and bushy beard for the music video of Music for a Sushi Restaurant.

While Harry did grow facial hair during the lockdown period, he looks almost unrecognisable in the teaser picture released for the music video.

The official video of Music for a Sushi Restaurant premieres at 12 pm ET (5 pm BST) on Thursday, October 27.

Harry’s beard sends fans into meltdown

Harry’s long beard has become quite the talk among his fans on social media as many flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts about the singer’s newest look.

One fan said: “He knew what he was doing when he wanted that beard on him. Harry Styles, why would do this to us? You know we’re crazy.”

Another one commented: “I’ll never ever get this image of Harry styles with a beard out of my head for as long as I live.”

Story behind Music for a Sushi restaurant

Speaking to NPR’s Leila Fadel about Harry’s House at the time of its release, Harry revealed the story and meaning behind the song.

“I was in a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles with my producer and one of our songs came on from the last album,” he explained before saying that he thought it was “really strange music for a sushi restaurant”.

He continued: “And then I was like – that would be a really fun album title, but then as the song started being made I kind of just set on Music for a Sushi Restaurant.”

“So the next time you’re in a sushi restaurant and this is playing you’ll be like ‘It fits’,” Leila joked, to which Harry said: “I’ll be like – this is everything I’ve ever wanted.”
