According to a statement from the UGA Athletic Association, football player Devin Willock and staff member Chandler LeCroy of the University of Georgia were killed in a car accident early on Sunday, just hours after their team celebrated its national championship with a victory parade and celebration.

The University of Georgia, our football program, and our athletic department all cherished Devin and Chandler as remarkable individuals. Who was Chandler LeCroy?

According to her LinkedIn page, LeCroy, 24, has worked for Georgia sports for three years as an assistant learning specialist since January 2020 and a football recruiting analyst since May 2021.

She graduated from Stephens County High School in Toccoa, Georgia, in 2016 and Georgia in 2021. 

LeCroy graduated from Stephens County High School in Toccoa as a leader. 

She was also a Double Dawg, earning her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Georgia in sports management and policy.
